Well what can I say? That’s one month done. 11 to go 👍
So throughout this month, I’ve managed to run everyday and also keep this blog going. I’ve ran 31 days straight, and sometimes done twice a day. I’ve ran a total of 203.6 miles and lost 5lb in weight. I’d be lying if I said it’s been easy, far from it. Some days I felt shattered, I had others with zero motivation. Though most of the time I’ve looked forward to them. I’ve always felt better afterwards though, and that’s the truth. I sometimes could do with some extra hours in the day though 😉
Bit of stuff you may or may not know about me, but I feel it should be said, just to say if I can do it, so can you.
I suffer with chilblaines on my toes and get Raynaud’s in my hands and feet.
I have Asthma, had it since birth. Sometimes it’s worse than others.
Also I suffer with depression (also known as the Black dog, not Jackson) but I can usually control it. Now and then though, it gets me by surprise and smothers me. Today was one of these days. It’s not a nice place to be and I’m not a nice person to be around. Ask Babs if you don’t believe me, poor girl gets the worst of me. Without her motivation today I’m not sure if I’d have ran. But I did! And yet again I feel so much better for it. So get out there and challenge yourselves. It doesn’t have to be big, just get out of your comfort zone a bit, set yourself a challenge. So since my run I’m feeling back on top and looking forward to my run in the morning.
It’s February tomorrow, a shorter month, let’s see what it brings. More work hopefully and lots more running 😎
Tonight I just ran into town and around the shops and passed the pubs. A bit of watching the world go by, like a fly on the wall I suppose. Fitness wise I felt great and I could feel my head clearing too. Only went out to do 2 miles but did a little more for luck 💪
Day 31 and January done 334 to go.
3.3 miles HR 137.
195.2 miles total.
